Discussion: Re-Walking - THE WALKING DEAD #12 (SPOILERS!)

For those of you that have only the trades and/or hardcovers and you don't know where #12 begins and where it ends.

It starts with Rick saying to Hershel, "Dead Ones'?! What do you mean"Dead Ones?"

The issue ends with a splash page close up of Rick saying, "It's Perfect. We're home."

NOTE:

Please keep the thread only about the subject of the issue. Talk about

writing, art, what you liked, what you didn't like. Re-Reading is a great way

to pass the time between issues.

Thanks and talk!

We all were. I felt the same way.

Yeah it did..... But it made a great story. I still think that the woodbury arc is one of the best.

Ahhhhh yes, the end of the, Searching For A Safe Place arc, I really enjoyed this issue, it all came together nicely, and of course the Prison was introduced.

I think it's funny that everyone in the group thought that the Prison would be a safe place where there would be no deaths, I would sure think so, when the fact is, pretty much 90% of the cast is killed off in that Prison.

I agree. Of the 13 people who first enter the prison only 7 actually leave it (alive anyway). This issue is probably one of the most important in terms of the grand scheme of the series.

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Well, thats irony for ya.

I think the shot of them finding the prison is one of my all time favorites.
