I know they can't use the word fu@k but their shows get pretty violent, don't they?  I'm sure issue 33 would have to be alluded to as would the potential

spoilers

rape of carl but I was just curious if anyone knew how far they could go.  I mean I know what makes Walking Dead great is the characters and their constant evolution but I like me some gut munchin' every now and again, as well.

i am sure it will be gruesome but tasteful. the use of the word fuck will probably be drastically lessened.

Frank is cold, hard and down! It will be gruesome I am sure, just not to the extent of the comic though.

I can't imagine issue 33 being anywhere close to the source material.  That was a hard issue to get through even though I hated the Govenor.  I also wonder about CArl's close escape from being raped by those bastards on the bridge.  It was a powerful scene and helped exploe just how far Rick will go, but I wonder if it will be cut totally.  Of course, I'm sure Frank will not be doing direct adaptations of the comiic, anyway.  I'm happy as long as it stays CLOSE to the source material.

To be honest with you Im very suprised if they toned it down.Over here in the UK,Deadset was very, very gory and had loads of swearing and use of FUCK.

Hopefully they will do the book justice, its a harsh book but then again, life is hard and people need to realise that.

Real life isnt Disney

That's where I wonder about the censors. I'm fairly unfamiliar with the channel and I don't know their criteria as to what they can and cannot show. Subject matter is something I am more interested in than the pure gore or the occasional cuss word. More questions for you to ask CHarlie, get a notepad.

See, I'm unfamiliar with AMC'S shows so I didn't know how strict their guidelines were.  I still hope to see some gut munchin'.  Or maybe that could be saved for the director's cut DVD.  That would work for me.

I don't know man.  In Season 2 of Breaking Bad,  one of  the main characters disolved a body with acid in a bathtub and then they showed blood remains and bones crash thru the ceiling as it disolved.   I think we'll see plenty of gore, just no F bombs.
