As we all know, after The Governor cut Tyreese's head off, Michonne came out and held a gun to the Governors head. But she ran away after gtting shot at. She wasn't seen again until after the final battle at the Prison, without the riot gear. What I don't understand is why would someone as smart as Michonne, or anyone for that matter, ditch a Riot Gear outfit that protects them from zombie bites and bullets? Without it Michonne would not have survived her encounter with the remaining soldiers of the Woodbury army.

So why would she do it? Seems pretty plain stupid to me.

This has botherd me also. the only thing  I can think of is that the riot gear is heavy and hot. It would also limit movement. That is the only reason that I can think of for someone as smart as her to ditch the gear. I have to say I really miss the riot gear. I remember when we first saw the cover with the gear and how useful I thought it would be.

I still think i keep it to use if situations that will come up later.

Yeah if zombies were real i know i wouldnt be wearing any type of tactical vest or armor you couldnt run in them. Because if there slow zombies all you need is street clothes and a good pair of boots or runners.

I think I would at least keep the top part of the riot gear just in case of a herd
