I've been rereading the Savage Dragon (got some extra time on my hands) and I really like that the story moves in real time. I wish Walking Dead would take a similiar approach. Not thirty days between issues or anything like that but when a year passes for the reader , I would enjoy a year approximately moving on for the characters. I really want to see Carl age at a faster pace so he can kick more zombie ass. This may not make sense unless you're a reader of savage dragon. But babies born in that series are now 14 or so and it makes for a neat reading. The book started in '92 and the characters often comment on that. I think Walking Dead began in '03 but only a year has passed. I'd like to skip ahead during an issue a week here or a week there or even a month. No big year jumps or anything like that. I know I'm insane but anybody with me on this? I'd post this on the Image board but afraid I'd get flamed all to hell. so, please be nice to me. I just want to see the characters age physically as well as psychologically.

it would be kind of cool but I think character development would suffer. It seems slower because the comics only come out once a month but if he did it like savage dragon when you read all your comics back to back without waiting you would complain that it went to fast and the story plot suffered.
