Okay, so I was going over the whole series again when I discovered something. In issue #7, Dale tells Rick that the next day is Christmas. Which means they are in December. Dale also says in the same issue that Rick has been with them for little over a month. So Rick joined them somewhere around November. Finally, when Rick first meets Glenn, Glenn asks him where he has been for the past month, in reference to the beggining of the outbreak.

Which means, that if Andrea's calender is correct. That the Zombie Apocalypse began sometime in October.

...yeah, I have a little too much time on my hands.

How about some detective work on 1. How long Rick was in the coma, and 2. How old Rick and Carl are?

see what you don't know is that rick is still in the coma! This is all just a coma dream because they turned on his tv and Night of the Living Dead is on and it is causing him to dlream these things. WHAT A TWIST!

 After glenn and rick escape from the gun shop in atlanta. Rick has everyone practice shooting.Carl asks if he can carry his own gun. Rick says that carl is old enough but lori protests and says "he's SEVEN years old For christ sake".

Now in issue 70 Rick said that they had been surviving for the past 14 months. I forget what issue it was but they skipped carl's birthday because they didn't have any thing for him.

 Carl is 8years old plus a couple of months but as for a specific date. It was never stated.

  Red's idea would be perfect for a coma dream ending but I remember reading in a recent issues's letters page that kirkman would never screw us over with Rick being in a coma. 

  Issue 75 is coming up soon. No coma but ALIENS?

I really don't want aliens but for issue 75, as a special nod to the fans, they should have an alien attack on alexandria varient cover and it looks like an old 1950's movie poster. I would pay extra for that variant, and I never buy variants.:lol:

Its not a coma, Its real for them at least. Kirkman wouldn't buttfuck us like that.

I think you may be right.

yeah, they'll be illegal aliens.  Maybe from Canada or Mexico maybe?  Heck, maybe they're from China.  I'm pretty sure I read in one of the letters to editor sections he said it wouldn't have anything to do with actual aliens, but this master piece could incorporate illegal immigrants.
