Ever since Team Grimes began their long and perilous journey to Washington D.C. We have been treated with an interesting sub plot of the group continuing to find Zombies that have deteriorated motor skills. Now, these weak Zombies may be the most important find in this series to date. And yet, little attention or mention has been made of it.

Does this mean that the Zombies will eventually all die off? Where would that leave the series? I think these weak Zombie occurences are going to be studied more prominently throughout the Safe zone arc. It makes me excited because there are so many story threads this series can veer off into with this sub plot.

Anyone else have any thoughts about this? Perhaps any theories on how this may affect the rest of the book?

i would rather see the zombies become more of a threat.  even georghe romero's zombies seem to move at a faster pace.
