I didn't read all these posts yet but what was with Rick pulling his gun out so carelessly?  Is he finally losing it?  Not very strategic.

Rick has become unhinged.  He knows how to lead survivors in the land of the dead where at any second you can die.  He doesn't know how to give up control.  He's never truly dealt with the guilt of his choices.  Yeah he's kept some of his people alive, but how many died do to his leadership?  He doesn't realize that in the world of the undead, some people are going to die no matter what.  He feels he has to save everyone.

Actually, it didn't take any pages a way from the real story.  They still had their standard 22 pages.  He just added eight pages of Ad's is all

I agree. The Morgan and Duane christmas special was really nice.

Maybe something with the last moments of Lily and the remaining Woodbury survivors before they were eaten up inside the prison. Or perhaps one on Andrew after he ran away and how he tried to survive before he got bitten and turned into a zed (Andrew zed statue is proof). Kirkman said that he's moved on from the Woodbury chapter, but still would've been nice.
