Ok,so Amy,Andrea,Carol and Sophia,Dale and Glen have been cast and we have seem them.

But what about the other members of the camp who are part of this group from the begining:Allan,Donna, the twins.

Allan is especially important in my opinion as him and Rick have a friendship within the book

i think i saw somewhere that they've filmed 4 episodes so far, so maybe they don't really hit until 5 and 6, and then we'll start hearing the rumors?  that's my only guess.

Based on the pilot script that I read a while back, Glenn saves Rick from inside the tank seen in the trailer. However, in the same trailer, we also see Michael Rooker's character and Rick talks about trying to find his wife and kid. And we've seen pictures of Glenn and Rick walking through Atlanta with ponchos covered in zombie blood.

I'm thinking that maybe Glenn is part of a different camp that includes Michael Rooker, Norman Reedus, maybe T-Dog, and some of the other show-only characters. Then, something happens, probably having to do with Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus being dangerous and in the end, maybe half-way through the season, or even near the end, Rick and Glenn find Shane's camp and join them.

I was just happy theycasted Jim.  I thought for sure he was going to be left out.

  • So has it not been two months then in the TV show from Rick being shot to him waking up?  Because he's still got wraps on his gun shot wound and they look fresh.y

yeah i am pretty sure they are going to slow the story down big time...meaning that they won't reach the prison or anyting like that unitl like season 5 or 6. They have to take their time with the story to fill out the seasons which means some things have to change plus i want different stuff cause if it is just the comic than I am going to be bored because I already know what is going to happen.

Well you can rest assure that it will not only contain comic book story, but new story as well. This was mentioned on the comic con panel, and other interviews. I agree with you, that they will be slowing down the pace. They have a story board already written by Kirkman, and all they will do is deviate where they need to for the sake of television.

I am just so excited with all this info coming around now. It has been all rumors for so long. This is great!

there should be no problems with the detours, since Kirkman would not endorse something he didnt like.

actually, i thought i read that the season would only be 6 episodes...so if that is the norm...i dont think they will need to worry about stretching things out soo much... the prison could occure by season 3......

i think a perfect cliffhanger for season one would be rick's son gunning down shane....fade to black role credits

No fade to black.  We have to have the famous line "It's not the same as killing the dead ones daddy," by Carl as he's being held by his dad.  Then have Rick reply," It never should be son, it never should be " as Shanes unmoving body lays nearby with blood pooling from his throat.  That would be EPIC!

Not every season is going to have only 6 episodes. That was just the number they signed off on for the 1st season. Breaking Bad originally only had 7 episodes in the first season and then had two 13 episode seasons. I imagine as long as TWD does well, they will get a similar deal.
