If they can make the zombies look as good as they do, I think they can make him look like Jim. I don't think he looks that far off.

IMO, he's closer looking to Jim, than Jon Bernthal is to looking like Shane.

I wonder if he will live longer then he did in the comic? Kirkman always said he wished he would have kept him around longer.

a fan asked about that at the comic con and they said that they'll try to strech it out so he'll be around longer. 'Cause they like John ^_^

All Andrew needs is a Rolly Fingers style mustache and a CAT hat and he's golden.  He also has to be constantly eating out of a can and speak in short sentences.

As a Hero I used to fight on the side for good. I learned it's boring. Being a villainous hero is much more fun!

Why doesn't John wear the Police Cap that Shane wears throughout the entire first six issues?

I feel for you. The series is amazing! I believe you will catch up to everyone, and then become one of us who cant stand the wait for the new walking dead issue.

@ZombieHero I think the cap would have been superfluous, we know who he is. That, and it's friggin' 150 degrees in Atlanta right now, where they're shooting. I doubt he would wear the hat even if they told him to o.o

@Zombiefilmfan aww crap, and here I am with an addictive personality. That's just great *lol* at least they don't seem that expensive...

Shane's hat isn't as important as Rick's hat.  But Jim's hat is pretty important tho! :)

Starve your fear, feed your life. You'll find that you might be completely different all together.

And then you'll decide which one you like better.

Dude who plays Jim was in the first season of True Blood. He played a gay,  douche bag vampire. I suppose he was a decent actor if I remember right. I could see the resemblance, as long as he has a mustache.

Man news has been slow on TWD TV front since Comic Con. I guess we were spoiled when we were getting new stuff everyday, and now we're settling into the norm of maybe one or two fresh news items a week. I can only read so many interviews with Kirkman and Darabont before I crap out (reporters keep asking the same questions over and over again).

I feel Shanes hat is as iconic, especially since he's the one character casted to be played by an actor that looks nothing like who he's supposed to play.  Besides, when was the last issue we saw Rick with his hat on?  issue #2 or #3?  Shane had his hat on in every issue he was alive and then in flashbacks from Lori as well.  Just saying.  Carl is more iconic with Ricks hat.  Heck, the opening scene of #7 is Shanes hat hanging from a cross next to Amy's cross.
