The Walking Dead Fan Club

I originally picked up on this at thewalkingdeadpodcast.com. Apparently, Thomas Jane has watched some of the new TV show and thought it was "fan-fucking-tastic" and "going to be a big fucking hit," according to NBC Washington. Jane (who starred in Darabont's The Mist, if you hadn't heard) liked what he saw so much that he's talking about guest starring as a bad guy, possibly in season 2. It's also interesting that Jane was in talks to star as Rick when the show was supposed to be on HBO, but I guess that somehow fell through and he ended up on HBO's "Hung." Omg, before the show was cast, I wanted Thomas Jane to play Rick so bad! Even though it may have been slightly on the older side to play Rick's character, I thought he would have made for a perfect Rick. I find it interesting that he wants to be part of it, even if its a guest role.

What's funny is we all, ready new this a looong time ago and thats what started the whole fight club thing. From what they are saying now is he will play a villan.

What villain could Jane play? The only one I can think of is the Governor and that's a long-term role.
